First Impressions & Arrival

I stopped by the Capital One Lounge at Las Vegas Airport (LAS) before a short business flight, and right away, the experience stood out for all the right reasons. Check-in was seamless — quick, easy, and with no wait at all. The staff at the entrance were friendly, welcoming, and professional, setting the tone for what turned out to be a relaxing pre-flight visit.
Atmosphere & Décor
The lounge felt modern, peaceful, and beautifully designed — exactly what you want before heading into a busy travel day. The space had a soft, clean aesthetic with natural light and sleek furniture. The overall tone is upscale yet welcoming — designer finishes, good lighting, local artwork that people are raving about.

Seating & How Crowded It Feels
here were plenty of open seats, from lounge chairs and small tables to private work pods and bar seating. Everything was well-spaced and comfortable. Unlike many airport lounges, this one was noticeably quiet, allowing for both relaxation and productivity without the background chaos you often expect at a major airport.
Food & Drinks
Capital One continues to impress when it comes to lounge dining, and the Las Vegas location is no exception. The grab & go station is a standout — perfect for travelers in a rush. It featured options like overnight muesli, white bean & chickpea salad, tropical fruit cups, summer caprese salad, and sandwiches such as ham & Swiss on a pretzel roll, falafel lettuce wraps, and hot breakfast sandwiches. You’ll also find croissants, pastries, candy, and bottled drinks to take with you.
Inside the main dining area, a buffet of hot and cold dishes was available. During my visit, I enjoyed the chili crisp potato hash with soy chorizo, browned butter griddle cake with spiced apple, an acai bowl topped with chocolate shavings, and fresh bagels with yogurt. Everything tasted fresh and high quality, but the zucchini bread stole the show — soft and delicious.
I ordered a latte from the bar, which was excellent. The bar itself offers a curated menu of craft cocktails developed in partnership with local favorite Herbs & Rye, so if you have extra time, it’s worth sampling a drink or two.

Drinks: I had a great latte that exceeded my expectations! The bar cocktails looked inviting; it’s exciting to see the partnership with Herbs & Rye making creative drinks for those who have some extra time to relax.

Amenities & Extras
- Private showers are available (reservation required) — nice for longer stops.
- Quiet rooms / work rooms help if you need to get work done or just retreat a bit.
- Grab & go section is smartly placed so even if you’re running tight on time, you can snag something without settling in for long.
- Local touches: people keep praising the design, the art, the local suppliers (coffee, pastries) — adds character, makes it feel less cookie-cutter.

Service & Value
From start to finish, the staff were outstanding — friendly, attentive, and genuinely interested in making guests comfortable. I appreciated how polished yet down-to-earth the service felt.
When it comes to domestic lounges, Capital One continues to raise the bar. The combination of a calm environment, thoughtful amenities, and high-quality food puts it among the best options in the U.S.
Final Thoughts
Overall, I’d rate the Capital One Lounge Las Vegas a perfect 10/10. It’s a peaceful, modern retreat that delivers exactly what travelers want — great food, plenty of space, and outstanding service.
